kasupe
Although new to our Board, joining in 2015, Jacqueline is no stranger to Kasupe as she was a member of the 2004 PEACE Plan group, as well as 2005 and 2013 Malawi Venture Trip teams. Jacqueline has had a heart for service from an early age, travelling as a junior high school student to San Francisco, California, to live and work in a homeless shelter, and to Pattaya, Thailand, to serve Southeast Asian missionaries. As a member and class officer of the Canyon Chapter of National Charity League from 2000-2006, Jacqueline received multiple awards, including the President's Volunteer Service Award for contributing over 700 hours of community service to organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Laura's House, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Special Olympics. An accomplished junior golfer, Jacqueline taught the game of golf to at-risk teens through the Get A Grip Foundation, and was a frequent volunteer and tournament speaker for the American Junior Golf Association. Jacqueline graduated from St. Edward's University in 2012 with a B.A. in Social Work and has worked for the past 5 years serving the intellectually- and developmentally- disabled community in Travis County, Texas.
